Paul and I had a talk. Our relationship isn't working out, and we have decided to break up.
I do love him, but the break is for the best. Two and a half years is a long time to throw away but I know we will always be close.
I wish him all the best.

One of my corset-making friends has told me that from now until July this year she will be making corsets for a mere £50!
Just think of all the times you have seen a corset you liked, but either it was too expensive, they didnt have your waist size in stock or they didnt have a colour or pattern you wanted?
If you are interested, just drop her an email and tell her that "Maz sent you", and state your colour/pattern interests & size, and ask her any other questions you may have.
If you have any special requests (addition of extras such as ribbons, marabou, plastic boning instead of metal, addition of breast forms etc) just ask.
She is going to Tunisia in august, so help her earn some holiday monies and gain pretty things in return!

I need someone to help me unpack stuff on monday afternoon/evening.
My flat depends on it, if it isn't done by tuesday I'm getting the boot, and monday is the only day I have off (hence requiring assistant)!

For reasons I do not wish to fully discuss here, I have been forced to set my phone to divert all my calls to voicemail most of the time. I can still receive texts, so if you need to call me, text first and I'll temporarily disable call barring.
Also I have found out that there is a 95% probability of me having no job to return to by the end of next week. Anyone who knows where I could find a suitable replacement job, please tell me; I've tried to find another job for several months but now the pressure is really on, if I don't find a new job in the next couple of weeks I will be evicted, I can't afford to live here with no job.

I almost feel like I've been given a new lease of life...
I have moved to a place where I'm happy and close to everywhere I want to be
I have a full time job that I'm good at and that I enjoy
My wages are about to go up (for a trial period) with a new assignment
I have somewhere to drag Paul back to after nights out :P
Life is treating me well at the moment :) I can finally shake off the stressed and unhappy Maz, and become chilled out happy Maz again :)

Have spoken to the venue about the birthday party, and after much consideration (and circumstance) it will not be on the 3rd... infact, it will be on the 17th.
It still isn't set in stone, but only because they need to calculate cost and get back to us, which should be in the next couple of days. More info will be released as everything pans out.
We have also been told that for stewarding purposes, everyone will need to bring some form of proof that they are invited. I am therefore going to email invites, just find a way to print it and bring it with you. If you are intending on going, reply to this post stating your full name (incase a guest list is possible) and email address. Also for cost reasons, I need people to tell me if they are going, and who they are bringing... so please include this information as well.
Finally... if anyone wants to help with "decorations" please let me know, hehehe.
Make sure you keep SATURDAY 17th FEBRUARY free!!!

In between sobs, I am posting this plea to anyone that may wish to help.
My mother and I have had a major falling out;
apparently I am an ungrateful sod and have ruined everything*.
One of us has to go, and as my mother has established a family and her home here, it has to be me.
I've been told to "go to fucking hell!" anyway. Also I have been forbidden to move my things, so it'll just be me and my wardrobe that leaves at this rate.
So please, if anyone has a spare room, or knows of really cheap accomodation somewhere, please let me know. At this point in time I'm willing to travel to the other end of the country if needbe, as my job moves with me.
Just please, someone... offer me some hope, because if I can't find somewhere I'll end up homeless (for the second time in my short life)
Nomatter what happens, it has to be better than being stuck in the living hell that she likes to call "home".
*if anyone cares enough, I can expose the trivialities via phone. Its really not worth the energy to type.

21st BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Greetings All
I know this is aaaaaages in advance, but as I intend to have the BIGGEST and BEST party ever, it requires some levels of preparation.
I have many ideas up my sleeve, but I'm keeping shtoom until I have an idea of numbers.
As you all know, I never do things by half, and as such, I am hopefully going to be getting a BIG venue.
It will be a joint 21st with my friend Ross, and as such, we are aiming to have it on Saturday 3rd February 2007.
(Ross birthday = 28th January, and mine is on 6th February)
What I need to know is:
1)If you are interested in coming along (I know people wont know about shifts etc as of yet, but please just express your interest!)
2)How many people you would be able to bring (We need to collectively have a couple of hundred people if it is to go ahead)
3)How many of you lovely people would be willing to contribute £2-3 to the hiring of the venue instead of buying me brithday drinkies?
I'm only asking this as if all plans come to fruition, the venue might be damned expensive, lol.
I'm sick of crappy and lame birthday parties... help this one go with a bang!
and remember, if all plans come to pass, invite ALL your friends. Get your friends to invite all THEIR friends!

Looks like Im headed for the chop on friday.
Why?
Well, as I was working on a trial basis, I found out today that they will decide on friday which newstarts (3 I think) are staying on, out of the 3485739845735966 newstarts they took.
This is bad because I have no more shifts before friday to prove myself, and EVERYTHING went wrong today.
People change their minds, making me look like I took the wrong order.
People decide they don't want drinks when you take them over, again making ME look stupid.
I sat down a wine glass carefully to pour wine into, and the base shattered. Musta had a weak point or something, but AGAIN it makes me look like a clumsy incompetent fool.
Trainee manager sets up a table with the wrong kind of SPOONS, for fucks sake. How anyone can put a fucking TABLESPOON where the dessert spoons are meant to be?? Eejits. I point out incorrect useage of spoons, and then offer to replace them with the correct type.
He says "Naw, leave it" and seats a group of 12 people, at a table with 12 incorrect settings. Later after the patrons leave the ACTUAL manager says what sounds like "CAN you set up this table?" I said yes. Then I discover he actually said "DID you set up this table?"
Cue rant about incorrect spoons. Cue me getting annoyed because NOONE is ever competent enough for me to WANT to work with.
Yesterday I was meant to start at 12, and when I got there I was told I WASNT IN, BECAUSE SOME ARSE CHANGED THE FUCKING ROTA. This makes me look like I can't read rotas. It makes me a very angry bunny.
Part of me wants them to fire me now. I REALLY need a job, I really do. But sometimes what I need is more hassle than its worth.
Either way, I still have a job to go to on saturday.
But for fucks sake... note to the entire human race:
GET A FUCKING GRIP. GAIN some COMPETENCE before I initiate my worldwide plan to rid this nasty disease ridden planet of all the fucking thick, incompetant SCUM that likes to call itself human.
I rest my case.

Looks like my new job has already gotten off to a bad start.
When they called the other day, they told me to come in at 14:30 this afternoon. I clarified this with them 3 times in the same call, just to make sure I had heard correctly/understood what they were saying.
At 12:30 today I get a phonecall asking me where I am...
Confused, I pointed out that I was asked to come in for 14:30. They then tell me that no, I was to come in at 12:00. I told them I was sorry, and that I was 100% positive they had said 14:00. They said ok, sorry for miscommunication, come in at 16:45 instead.
Thing that worries me is if they genuinely believe that they said 12:00 instead of 14:30, that means they are going to view me as highly unreliable, and I wont get past my trial week.
It also make ME feel stupid because of THEIR mistake.

...Well not quite. I have however secured a worktrial! Trial lasts a week and it means that if myself and management don't get on, then I don't need to return.
If I succeed at doing my job properly for the week, then I'll get a three month probationary period and then I get to negotiate a wage.
Where I hear you ask?
I'll be working in an italian restaurant as waiting/bar staff.
I'm sure I can do this. I'm really pleased at even getting a trial as I didnt actually have ANY relevant bar/waiting experience, and they wanted a yearsworth. I just glossed over what experience I actually have, and told them I can adapt to the role :D
YEY!

It does mean that if I get the job, I wont be out much. Does mean I'll enjoy my nights out more! YEY!
